Habitat Flood Recovery Efforts

While Habitat for Humanity is not specifically a disaster response organization, we have responded to the terrible damage from last summer's flooding. In light of this disaster, we have widened the focus of our core mission to provide building assistance to qualified flood victims. This assistance includes, clean up of flood debris, gutting flooded homes, salvaging of usable items from houses scheduled for demolition, construction of storage sheds, and other assistance as needed.

We are working in cooperation with other disaster response groups in our area, but due to limited resources we are unable to respond to every need. Still, our goal is to assist as many flood victims as possible in returning to their homes as quickly as possible. Flooded homeowners seeking assistance should contact the Habitat for Humanity office in Minot.
