Habitat for Humanity International Visitor

Our affiliate was visited this week by Ed Carr, a disaster recovery expert from Habitat for Humanity International. Mr. Carr came to assess Minot's flood damage and determine what additional resources HFHI could direct toward our flood recovery.

Mr. Carr toured the flood zone for a first hand view of the scale of this disaster. He visited with local flood recovery oriented groups and was in constant contact with HFHI's Disaster Response office. He finished his visit with a clear understanding that flood impacted families will require additional flood recovery assistance.

Northern Lights Habitat for Humanity is diligently working and coordinating with other disaster response organizations to help flood impacted families to return to their home. Once Mr. Carr reports his findings to HFHI we will learn what additional resources may be available to us.
